We are delighted to announce the arrival of Kirk Layton.
Kirk made the Worcester City number 5 shirt his own last season making 54 appearances and scoring 4 goals. He joined Worcester City last summer from Pershore Town where he won the Hellenic League Division 1 title and the Bluefin Sports Challenge Cup during the 2022/2023 season.
Kirk had another brilliant season, adding two trophies to his collection and his second promotion in as many years. He has also played for Bishops Cleeve, Malvern Town and Stourport Swifts.
Kirk said about his signing for the Robins: “Happy to be signing for Evesham after speaking to Mike and playing back at step 4, I’m over the moon. Looking forward to it and meeting the young lads and pushing on trying to get promotion.”
Mike Ford said of his new capture: “Great to have Kirk’s experience in the team, it’s something we didn’t have last season, I’m sure he will have a point to prove, and it can only benefit Evesham United.”
