MANAGEMENT TEAM
Mark Taylor (Manager EUFC Women)
Mark joined us as Manager late in 2024, following the best part of 3 seasons as Manager of Malvern Town Women and a short spell as Head of Recruitment with Cheltenham Town Women.
Mark has a wealth of knowledge and experience across the Men’s and Women’s game, focusing on the Women’s game now for some 7 or 8 years. Tactical know-how and specific detail are two areas of strength that Taylor possesses, along with excellent squad management skills. A big advocate of 4 at the back, Taylor’s teams can always play and adapt across 442, 4231, 433 offensive formations with a strict 451 defensive set-up. Taylor looks for his teams to adopt a variation of possession-based play and, where necessary, a more direct style. Taylor’s first 6 months saw the team rise from the bottom two up to a seventh-place finish, including a nine-game unbeaten run. The season ahead will be his first full season with a pre-season too, and competing at the top end of the table and pushing for promotion is by no means out of his reach.
Steve Dallow (Assistant manager)
Steve commenced his coaching career in 2009 when he took a year off from playing through injury.
A striker by trade, he retired from playing in 2021 at the age of 43, having spent the majority of his career at two clubs, Powick FC and Malvern Vale FC (the club he founded in 2013 and ran until 2020). Steve, having converted to centre back, spent his final year playing at Eaton FC.
Since starting in 2009, Steve continued to coach at both the boys and men’s level until 2021, when he moved into the women’s game at Malvern Town FC, which is where he commenced his partnership with Mark Taylor, becoming assistant manager of the Club’s new women’s team. They remained at the club for 3 seasons, winning promotion in their final season.
Upon leaving Malvern Town FC, Steve continued in the women’s game, working with Cheltenham Town FC’s EFL U19s Girls side and Nunnery Wood FC’s United Women before reuniting with Mark Taylor at Evesham United in January 2025.
Steve holds a UEFA B Licence with FA Wales and is a PFSA-licensed scout.
Angus Hodge (Coach)
Growing up in Evesham, the football club has played a big role in my youth. From playing against the Evesham United youth sections in the Junior leagues, to later joining the club as a coach. EUFC is very important to me and my hometown community it represents.
The opportunity to join and assist the Women’s side was something I couldn’t pass up on. So far, it has been great and has granted me so many wonderful experiences and chances to learn as I start my coaching journey.
I’m looking forward to seeing how the team grows and improves this upcoming season. It will be an interesting challenge, a brilliant way to represent and grow Women’s football in our town.
